This is my story when I experienced the typhoon Ulysses, No sooner had Rolly left, causing massive destruction. When Ulysses came here to the Philippines everyone was surprised because it causing even more destruction. We were sufficiently warned about and prepared for Typhoon Rolly, expecting the worst of a super typhoon of Category 5, dubbed "the most powerful tropical cyclone in the world to date in 2020." It was indeed as powerful as anticipated. It weakened quickly, but only after triggering major floods, displacing more than hundreds of thousands of people and destroying tens of thousands of homes. We were not as vigilant for the coming of Ulysses, which was just a “nearing typhoon category” as it approached the Philippines but grew into a “category 2 hurricane.” The damage it wrought was more widespread, causing damage to agriculture and infrastructure, leaving 67 dead, and more than 25,000 homeless.
Many Filipino's Encountered hunger happened during the typhoon. This is one of the causes of flood. Nobody at that time enjoyed it. But so many celebrities gave aid to those who can not afford food or other items. Everybody was surprised. Typhoon Ulysses was a crisis. the typhoon gave as such danger. lots of people were injured because of the typhoon, others leave their house to be safer. it is hard to encounter a typhoon like Ulysses but we are hoping that someday will be free again not like a bird that we can go whenever we want but a bird that can go outside and seeing the beauty of the sun.it is hard to imagine any other people that are as resilient. And it’s hard to imagine that thousands of residents evacuate and some are not evacuating. Their family was all scrambled some children don't know where their families went. The worst part when losing their home. A lot of people died out there.
In that kind of situation, my reflection towards the typhoon Ulysses is too difficult to face because we suffer from our necessary things. The people affected by the typhoon lose their homes and there is no food to eat. Only they can do is escape to their home and go to the safety area, but it did not happen because they are all affected. I learned from the typhoon that we should defend ourselves against the typhoon as an individual because we don't know where and when it happens, so we have to be ready and prepared for the required things. I feel sorry for their circumstances for those people affected by the typhoon because they have a major problem and don't know how to fix it, but from now on the weather is nice they can start their everyday lifestyle again and start fixing up those things that are finished broken. There is nothing necessary to help each other to renovate the scary moments of typhoon Ulysses.
